The Shuangdao bay petrification industrial district, is located the Northeast Asia economical circle the center,in the southwest of the Liaodong Peninsula,Dalian Lushunkou district ,Shuangdao bay town. Borders on the Persian Gulf bay mouth, Lu Yukuan the approximately 5 kilometers, the depth 4 kilometers, the waters area 14 square kilometers, the length of the waterfront is 11 kilometers. The north of bay side to the shore is 200 meters ,the water depth is 30 meters to the shore 200 meters water depth .It can construct 3,00,000tons crude oil quay and 2-100,000 tons middle and small quay. .
Land territory broad widely, the transportation is convenient , from the Bohai Sea railroad to ferry there is only 3 kilometers.It connects with the northeast high speed highway network. The industrial district planning area is 20 square kilometers, the majority for the salt field which abandons, does not occupy cultivated land. The industrial district mainly uses two kinds of resources, facing to international and domestic markets. It takes the crude oil and its the wastage as a raw material, the ethylene as the main item, prioritizing high attachment petrified following product and so on value, high-tech content new material, special-purpose chemical and fine chemical industry for the characteristic large-scale coastal petrochemical industry, and constructs the industrial district into the base of refined oil and the deep processing for petrochemical products.
